More quiet than its famous brother NP Hoge Veluwe, Veluwezoom is somewhat more of a hidden gem in the east of Holland. Rolling hills of yellow grass make me think of African savanna, if it weren't for the typical Scots pines. The rut, when the red deer stags find there hinds while making roaring sounds, is a magical time to visit this beautiful area.
